The Knights Inn in Southington, ct is the filthiest, most disgusting place we have ever stayed in. I had a bad feeling about the place as soon as we checked in. The clerk even used my id card to scratch his paunch; an extremely primitive and unprofessional gesture. The rooms were situated in a building located right in the middle of the parking lot. There was stench from the garbage in the foyer area, which had probably not been emptied since ages. In the room itself, stench was a constant factor. There was mould, mildew and fungus all over the carpet, ceilings (due to leaks in the past), and walls. We kept our shoes and slippers on each time we had to walk about the room as we did not dare setting our bare feet on the filthy carpet. I advise all travellers to stay away from this so-called, miserable hotel at all costs. It actually needs to shut down for sanitary purposes. Lastly, this hotel definitely does not deserve the promotion it receives from Booked.net.
For the price we couldn't really expect more. It was plain and simple
